1997 Upper Deck SP Hardcourt Kobe Bryant #134

Bryant created quite a stir when the Charlotte Hornets drafted him straight out of high school. However, he was then dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers in a trade involving the Hornets acquiring Vlade Divac. Bryant entered the league with outstanding credentials. In high school, he became the all-time leading scorer in Southeastern Pennsylvania history — logging 30.8 points per game at Lower Merion High School during his 95–96 season. Drafted in the 1st Round, 13th pick, standing 6'6" and weighing 200 lbs, Bryant wore #8 in the early years of what would become one of the most legendary careers in NBA history.
