The 1987 NBA Slam-Dunk Championship marked Jordan's official acquisition of the NBA dunking crown. Scoring a perfect 50 on his second dunk of round one, he used his left-to-right trademark levitation to gracefully pump, fully extend his arms to his right, and finish with a tomahawk jam. He earlier dribbled the length of the court, taking off from the foul line for an easy dunk. Jordan beat out Portland's Jerome Kersey in the finals on February 7, 1987 in Seattle, finishing with a Rd. 1 score of 88, Semis of 148, and Finals of 146. This golden-themed insert captures one of the most iconic moments in Slam-Dunk Contest history.
